摘要: The mysteries surrounding the ~97-98% of human genome that does not encode proteins have long captivated imagination scientists. Does protein coding, 2-3% carry 97-98% as a mere passenger and neutral “cargo” on evolutionary path, or latter biological function? On one side debate, many commentaries referred to non-coding portion “selfish” “junk” DNA (Orgel Crick, 1980), while other side, authors argued it contains real blueprint for organismal development (Penman, 1995;Mattick, 2003), mechanisms developmental complexity. Thus, this question could be without much exaggeration most important issue in genetics today.
