摘要: Abstract The study aimed at investigating rural domestic wastewater treatment performance through vermifilter enhancement by a converter slag–coal cinder filter. research was carried out column experiments in lab scale. Results showed the average removal rate of TCOD, BOD, ammonia nitrogen (NH4+-N) and phosphorus system were 78.0%, 98.4%, 90.3%, 62.4%, respectively hydraulic loading 4 m3 m−2 day−1. Vermifiltration effective for insoluble organic matter suspended solid removal, filter played an important role removal. molecular weight particles influent effluents from every unit distributed wide range between 0.1 kDa 10,000 kDa with predominance values 10 kDa 300 kDa; major portion soluble material are high MW compounds. In addition, optimal design parameters vermifiltration slag coal filters, respectively, studied experiments.
