摘要: Pertussis and cholera endure as major contributors to worldwide morbidity mortality. Even with efficacious vaccines against pertussis long available, it was not until recently that a significant reduction in the global incidence of infant disease has been recorded result successes national vaccine initiatives. In contrast, no meaningfully effective exists for cholera, more than eight million cases this 150,000 cholera-related deaths occur each year.
