New single-switch three-phase high-power-factor rectifiers using multiresonant zero-current switching

摘要: A new family of single-switch three-phase high-power-factor rectifiers, which have continuous input and output currents, is introduced. By using a multiresonant scheme, the transistor operates with zero-current switching (ZCS), diodes operate zero-voltage (ZVS). These rectifiers single are capable drawing higher quality input-current waveform at nearly unity power factor lower stresses than quasi-resonant rectifiers. Buck-type converters used for stage, and, hence, voltage voltage. Moreover, these wide load range low on semiconductor devices. From analysis, normalized characteristics rectifier derived. The design breadboard implementation delivering 147 V/sub dc/ 6 kW from 3/spl phi/ 240-V/sub rms(LL)/ described. total harmonic distortion (THD) line current less 5%, system efficiency about 94% full load.
