摘要: A novel device has been constructed that permits the concentrated production of microbial extracellular enzymes. The apparatus is an all glass structure containing a number ports, two which extend to form cylindrical projections, three-quarters length vessel. These projections are highly perforated and do not impede nutrient movement inner growth chambers visking tubing. enzyme recovered from chamber after removal microorganisms by centrifugation. applicability this studies with different physiological types established using Bacillus polymyxa, Serratia marcescens Streptococcus thermophilus for exo-protease Clostridium acetobutylicum elaboration exo-amylase. In each instance, level produced was in small volume, although total yield lower.
