摘要: Objective: Quality assurance (QA) in clinical trials is essential to ensure treatment safely and effectively delivered. As QA requirements have increased complexity parallel with evolution of radiation therapy (RT) delivery, a need facilitate digital data exchange emerged. Our objective present the platform developed for integration standardization QART activities across all EORTC involving RT. Methods: The following were identified: secure easy access without on-site software installation; within existing remote capture system; ability both customize specific studies adapt future needs. After retrospective testing several trials, was introduced phases participating sites study reviewers. Results: resulting platform, integrating RT analysis installed at Headquarters, permits timely, secure, fully central DICOM-RT based review. Participating submit through standard upload webpage. Supplemental information submitted web-based forms. An internal quality check by office verifies consistency, formatting, anonymization. reviewers terminal server. Reviewers evaluate submissions protocol compliance an online evaluation matrix. Comments are collected coordinating centre institutions informed results. Conclusions: This review facilitates rapid, extensive, prospective reduces risk that trial outcomes compromised inadequate radiotherapy correlation results outcomes. © 2012 Elsevier Ireland Ltd.
