摘要: This chapter illustrates the usefulness of capillary electrophoresis (CE) for analysis sugar acids, that is, monosaccharides and lower oligosaccharides carrying carboxylate, sulphate or phosphate groups. In order to provide a general description main results challenges in field, some relevant applications reviews on CE such saccharidic compounds are tabulated. Furthermore, detailed experimental procedures shown, regarding acids released upon hydrolysis acidic polysaccharides glycans linked glycoproteins. particular, protocols will deal with following compounds: (i) unsaturated, underivatized from lyase-treated alginate; (ii) derivatized 4-aminobenzonitrile, arising chemical (iii) sialic acid 2-aminoacridone, human serum immunoglobulin G.
