摘要: This article studies the GIS simulation of yearly power generation in five different tidal stations East Coast region Malaysia. The are Geting, Tanjung Gelang, Tioman, Sedili and Cendering. station Geting is not analysed this study because range insignificant. After analysing lagoons nearby to four stations, Gelang chosen based on their natural characteristics geomorphology lagoons. model using barrage. also looks into terms mapping software obtain bathymetry data. Bathymetry data format obtained from NOAA (National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration) ‘Jabatan Ukur dan Pemetaan Malaysia’. latest up date year 2011. minimum depth basin should be 3.0 meter.
