摘要: Chaenomeles is a genus of deciduous spiny in the family Rosaceae (Pomoideae subfamily). For centuries, plant was used for treatment anemia, rheumatism, gout and cardiovascular diseases. The chemical composition studies showed presence many biologically active compounds, such as: phenolic organic acids, terpenoids, alcohols, ketones or aldehydes. Fruit has largest applying potential due to extensive use medicinal high concentration vitamin C. Recent vivo vitro suggest that fruit can help healing process diabetes, tumor, allergies liver Futhermore positive qualities, like: hepatoprotective effect, anti-inflammatory properties, antioxidant action, antimicrobial neuroprotective effect. may promote growth beneficial intestinal microflora contribute regulation body weight. aim this review summarize information data on therapeutic properties Chaenomeles.
