摘要: Although the spectral method can be used on spherical surface of general circulation models, it is difficult to extend vertical direction since various boundary conditions are applied at top and bottom atmosphere. Thus, grid normally for discretization models. We have seen that shallow-water equations a sphere naturally assures conservation physical quantities. It will shown in primitive equation model achieved by proper discretization. Here we use flux-form finite volume require domain integral energy potential temperature. also find minimizes an error pressure gradient force when atmosphere everywhere isentropic.
