Frequency modulation spectroscopy with a THz quantum-cascade laser

摘要: We report on a terahertz spectrometer for high-resolution molecular spectroscopy based quantum-cascade laser. High-frequency modulation (up to 50 MHz) of the laser driving current produces simultaneous frequency and amplitude output. The generates sidebands, which are symmetrically positioned with respect carrier frequency. transition is probed by scanning sidebands across it. In this way, absorption dispersion caused measured. signals modeled taking into account emission. This allows determination strength as well parameters such pressure broadening.
