摘要: Cartilage is one of few tissues where adult stem/progenitor cells have not been putatively identified. Recent studies provided strong evidence that a sub-population mesenchymal progenitor (MPCs) derived from the synovial fluid may be able to affect some degree cartilage repair both in vivo and vitro/ex vivo, however this does appear case patients with arthritis. Previously, it has found osmolarity decreased osteoarthritis (OA) or Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) these changes linked chondrocyte gene regulation. However, yet unknown if regulate expression MPCs (sfMPCs), by extension, chondrogenesis cell population. In present study we collected samples normal, OA RA knee joints, quantified modified culture/differentiation media span range osmolarities (264-375 mOsm). Chondrogenesis was measured Alcian blue staining cultures addition quantitative PCR (qPCR) using probes Sox9, ACAN Col2A1. Overall, sfMPCs arthritic joints demonstrated chondrogenic potential compared isolated normal fluid. Furthermore, retained increased differentiated under same conditions for which they were initially within. conclusion, regulates sfMPCs, however, further required elucidate mechanism are sensed expression.
