摘要: Abstract Nitrogen (N) is one of the most important elements for plant growth and development. To reveal interspecific variations poplar species in response to changes N levels essential traits that are closely linked nitrogen use efficiency (NUE), six were subjected 0.25, 2.5 or 7.5 mM NH4NO3. The morphological physiological analyzed, effects nutrition on each trait determined. roots Populus popularis (Pp) more sensitive low N, whereas, P. deltoids (Pd) had highest root biomass irrespective levels. (e.g., total surface area, length, volume, fine area) affected by genotype than levels, positively correlated with N. Conversely, photosynthesis accumulation aerial parts high soil availabilities. Considerable existed among analyzed species, contributed these species. NUE was found Pp under lowest detected Pd In addition, Pearson correlation analysis revealed tightly These results indicate exist within status genotype.
