摘要: The innate and adaptive immune systems of vertebrates possess complementary, but intertwined functions within responses. Receptors the mammalian system play an essential role in detection infected or transformed cells are vital for initiation regulation a full response. genes several these receptors clustered leukocyte receptor complex (LRC). purpose this study was to carry out detailed analysis chicken (Gallus gallus domesticus) LRC. Bacterial artificial chromosomes containing related immunoglobulin-like were identified genomic library shown map single microchromosome. Sequencing revealed 103 (CHIR) loci (22 inhibitory, 25 activating, 15 bifunctional, 41 pseudogenes). A very splicing pattern found using transcript analyses seven hypervariable regions detected external CHIR domains. Phylogenetic showed that evolved mainly by block duplications from ancestral inhibitory locus, with transformation into activating occurring more than once. Evolutionary selection pressure has led not only exceptional expansion cluster also dramatic diversification haplotypes. This indicates CHIRs have potential complement fighting pathogens.
