摘要: Crack penetration through the bimaterial interface of two polymers is investigated numerically. Due to practical importance problem, a crack in three-layer pipe consisting main and two, inner outer, protective layers analyzed this paper. The prime aim formulate conditions under which stays arrested at between layer or penetrates into causes failure consequently entire system. tip stress field described by using generalized intensity factor for cases where touches singularity exponent differs from 1/2. In case short-term applications, state on given simply combination elastic properties materials layers. long-term time-dependent can significantly influence lead considerable changes conditions. results presented here may contribute more accurate estimation residual lifetime multilayer pipes.
