摘要: Method and system for providing voice assisted configuration on an IP telephone in a non-DHCP environment includes detecting data packet including the terminal MAC address, transmitting address response to detected configuring layer 2 by assigning gateway subnet mask, additional parameters such as audio noise level adjustment so that is configured fully function network. Additional VOIP terminals local area network may be terminal.
