摘要: Fused-ring electron acceptors (FREAs) have recently received intensive attention. Besides the continuing development of new FREAs, demand for FREAs featuring good compatibility to donor materials is becoming more and urgent, which highly desirable screening achieving breakthroughs. In this work, a FREA developed, ZITI, an octacyclic dithienocyclopentaindenoindene central core. The core designed by linking 2,7-dithienyl substituents indenoindene with small methylene groups, in indeno[1,2-b]thiophene-2-(3-oxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-1-ylidene)malononitrile part provides large unoccupied π-surface. Most notably, ZITI possesses excellent commercially available polymer donors, delivering very high power conversion efficiencies over 13%.
