摘要: When violence broke out at the demonstrations surrounding 2001 G8 summit in Genoa, Italy, authors of this book were there. The protests proved to be a critical moment global justice movement. Presenting first systematic empirical research on movement, Globalization from Below analyzes movement viewpoints activists, organizers, and demonstrators themselves. traveled Genoa with anti-G8 protesters collected data more than 800 participants.
