摘要: Monitoring and better understanding of sediment flux processes in coastal environments are important to maintain water quality geomorphologic balance. This study describes the development validation an algorithm estimate total suspended sediments (TSS) based on remote sensing reflectance (Rrs) MODIS/Terra band 1 data. Three different algorithms were developed by combining two equations: (1) establishing relationship between TSS with Rrs (2) defining MODIS reflectance. A significant was defined at 645 nm (R2=0.73). All three evaluated applying resultant equations images from which situ data available. In analysis lower error encountered when using exponential equation, however linear estimations followed tendency measured values. Additional pre-processing routines will be order improve results produce operational products.
