摘要: Abstract Hydrometeor, which involves precipitation and cloud water net income, is the direct source of main component cloud. It plays an important role in climate system. In this study, we analyzed climatology interannual variation summer hydrometeor over Eastern China during 1979–2016 using ERA-Interim reanalysis datasets. The study region was divided into southern northern sub-regions. Moreover, budget analysis diagnosed to further shed light on formation hydrometeor. results showed that pattern more south less north. climatology, mainly contributed by evaporation vertical moisture advection sub-region, while most significant two contributions are horizontal sub-region. exhibits “north-south seesaw” pattern, caused atmospheric motion. depends strongly advections but it primarily anomalous anticyclone located southeast coast - northwest Pacific favor northward shift Western Subtropical High (WPSH), leading increase sub-region opposite indicates distribution regulated WPSH. Further indicated area change dynamic component, has both thermodynamic drives, offset each other.
