摘要: We investigate the effect of periodic potentials on electronic structure bilayer graphene and show that there is a critical value external potential below which new Dirac fermions are generated in low-energy band structure, above gap opened system. Our results, obtained from self-consistent tight-binding calculation, can be simply explained by two-band continuum model as consequence pseudospin physics graphene. The findings robust against changes form potential, well bias voltages between layers.
