摘要: Recent technological development of molecular methods has led to the proliferation new rapid PCR or reverse-transcriptase (RT)-PCR-derived diagnostic tests for plant viruses. Nevertheless, routine use, reliability all these is not widely established and there still an apprehension adopt them in official certification material. This partly because lack confidence obtained results poor knowledge on reproducibility limits RT-PCR protocols. There a information adequate risk assessment use this technology. An interlaboratory evaluation two duplex protocols detection four different fruit tree viruses was performed address questions. Identical samples were sent as crude extract preparation each participant laboratories. Samples coded ensure double-blind test. General principles result analysis are described, example calculation parameters such specificity, sensitivity, repeatability, reproducibility, likelihood ratios post-test probabilities. These integration within scheme discussed. Finally, guidelines researchers desirous validating their virus through suggested.
