摘要: Chronic relapsing experimental allergic encephalomyelitis (CREAE) was induced in Lewis rats by inoculation with guinea-pig myelin and complete Freund's adjuvant followed treatment low-dose cyclosporin A. Rats were sacrified at different phases of the disease (just before onset clinical signs, during first episode CREAE recovery). Gangliosides extracted from brain, analysed after purification HPTLC fractionation quantified densitometrically. An increase GM1, main rat ganglioside, a decrease GT1b, suggested to play role mediating interactions between oligodendroglia axons, observed development CREAE. These findings indicating significant ganglioside changes give further support concept concerning involvement gangliosides autoimmune demyelination.
