Polarization independent broadband metamaterial absorber based on tapered helical structure

摘要: Abstract This communication presents a tapered helical structure as absorber, made of unconventional material i.e. metamaterial. Modeling, analytical study and the optimization absorber have been done. Quad optimized gives almost unity absorption at 499 nm wavelength more than 75% from 300 nm to 1650 nm which is very wide operating region with, average absorbance 91.32%. Whereas, triple 85% with range 1350 nm. Also, it analyzed that presented structures are polarization independent broadband. Comparison proposed quad existing metamaterial absorbers done found most eligible.
