A parametric study of high dielectric material substrate for small antenna design

摘要: A parametric study on three different high dielectric substrate materials for antenna miniaturization is conducted in this paper. The substrates of 2 GHz frequency ranges from 7.5 to 9.5 are investigated. Rectangular microstrip Aluminium oxide, Rogers RT Duroid 6010 and Silicon designed at the resonant frequencies 8.95 GHz, 8.79 8.15 respectively. analyzed by using dimensional full-wave electromagnetic field simulators. performances proposed finite element method formulation within volumetric region. overall result shows that, aluminium oxide material performs better terms bandwidth, gain radiation characteristics compare other two materials.
