摘要: Trichogramma spp. are parasitoids used in the regulation of insect populations that can cause economic damage. In order to ensure good performance, understanding some their biological characteristics is essential. The objective this study evaluate whether mating interferes with a population pretiosum collected field. all experiments, groups mated and unmated females were used. We also verified any interference from on offspring. found alter parasitism longevity genitor females, addition changing among descendants, but once parasitized, eggs develop normally, showing similar emergence percentage number offspring as those females. addition, we T. field presented individuals reproductive thelytokous arrhenotokous characteristics. This fact highlights importance careful investigation reproduction mode field, thus avoiding problems effective management populations.
