摘要: Simulations are used to generate plausible realisations of soil and climatic variables for input into an enterprise land suitability assessment (LSA). Subsequently we present a case study demonstrating LSA (for hazelnuts) which takes account the quantified uncertainties biophysical model variables. This is carried out in Meander Valley Irrigation District, Tasmania, Australia. It found that when comparing assumes inputs be error free, there significant difference suitability. Using approach 56% area was predicted suitable hazelnuts. simulation it revealed considerable uncertainty about 'error free' assessment, where prediction 'unsuitable' made 66% time (on average) at each grid cell area. The cause this digital mapping both pH conductivity have high Despite differences between comparative methods, taking provide realistic appraisal advantageous also because assessments provided as continuous opposed discrete classifications. We would recommend other studies consider similar FAO (Food Agriculture Organisation United Nations) evaluation framework type assessments, parameter membership functions (as threshold cutoffs) together with concert.
