摘要: Much uncertainty exists in the phosphorus (P) cycle marshes of intertidal zone. This study explored P cycling two Suaeda salsa [middle S. marsh (MSM) and low (LSM)] Yellow River estuary during April 2008 to November 2009. Results showed seasonal fluctuations vertical distributions different soils, variations content parts plants due water salinity status. The N/P ratios were 9.87 +/- A 1.23 15.73 1.77, respectively, indicating that plant growth MSM was limited by N, while LSM both N P. litter released environment throughout year, immobilized from at all times. absorption coefficients very (0.0010 0.0001, respectively), biological high (0.739 0.812, respectively). turnovers among compartments uptake amounts roots 0.4275 0.0469 g m(-2) year(-1) values aboveground 1.1702 0.1833 year(-1), re-translocation quantities 0.8544 0.1452 translocation soil 0.0137 0.0012 living bodies 0.3157 0.0381 annual return less than 0.0626 -0.0728 (minus represented immobilization), respectively. an important limiting factor marshes, especially LSM. seemingly well adapted low-nutrient condition vulnerable habitat, nutrient enrichment import would be a potential threat marshes.
