摘要: Mycoplasma pneumoniae, commonly known as a major causative agent of primary atypical pneumonia, also causes various kinds extrapulmonary manifestations involving almost all the organs human body. The author has classified due to M. pneumoniae infection into three categories: first is direct type in which locally induced cytokines play role, second an indirect immune modulation such autoimmunity plays and third vascular occlusion vasculitis and/or thrombosis with or without systemic hypercoagulable state role [Narita, 2009, 2010]. This classification system intended facilitate understanding pathogenesis infection. A diagram depicting possible ways can induce these types relation pathomechanism pneumonia shown Fig 1. Further concrete explanations each mechanism, based on accumulated in-vitro in-vivo data, are provided following sections.
