摘要: People and wildlife interact in many ways recently there has been increased recognition that forests have multiple uses management objectives providing opportunities for recreation, education, conservation enhancement of biodiversity, carbon sequestration, the production timber fuel. Whilst benefits can perhaps be delivered simultaneously, is potential conflict between these objectives. In this chapter we focus on possibly contradictory recreation conservation. Forests are increasingly places where human-wildlife interactions occur through recreational activities such as walking, cycling, nature-watching, general visits to relax, play and/or picnic. The pursuit outdoor substantial human including improved mental physical health; evidence suggest positive experiences associated with natural [forest] settings an opportunity see or hear wildlife.
