摘要: Conversion of somatic cells into a pluripotent state is possible by the introduction reprogramming transcription factors (Oct4, Sox2, c-Myc, and Klf4) cells. Induced stem (iPSCs), which hold great promise for future regenerative medicine, disease modeling, drug discovery are embryonic cell (ESC)-like that display most characteristics ESCs. There some challenges regarding establishment iPSCs, their similarity with ESCs, biomedical applications. Improvements in gene delivery methods, iPSC lines without use Yamanaka factors, vitro modeling complex diseases among hot topics this field to be discussed chapter.
