摘要: Abstract Experiments were performed to study the heat transfer from a 35 mm wide heated foil into confined gap over saturated porous plate, with nominal pore size of 50 μm, using distilled water as working fluid. The surface temperature distribution on central portion was measured high speed thermal imaging camera. for sizes 0–1000 μm and fluxes 11.7–58.3 kW/m 2 . found have significant effect boiling dynamics beneath surface, highest flux achieved 600 μm, similar previous results width 10 mm. here indicate that within independent heater width. performance, however, not earlier dry-out wider considered here.
