摘要: Owing to progressive population aging, elderly people (aged 65 and above) face challenges in carrying out activities of daily living, while placement the a care facility is expensive mentally taxing for them. Thus, there need develop their own homes into smart using new technologies. However, this raises concerns privacy data security users since it can be handled remotely. Hence, with advancing technologies important overcome challenge privacy-preserving non-intrusive models. For review, 235 articles were scanned from databases, which 31 pertaining in-home that assist living independently shortlisted inclusion. They described adoption various methodologies like different sensor-based mechanisms, wearables, camera-based techniques, robots, machine learning strategies provide safe comfortable environment elderly. Recent innovations have rendered these more unobtrusive increasing use environmental sensors less cameras other devices may compromise individuals. There comprehensive system ensures patient safety, privacy, security; addition, robots should integrated existing platforms therapies as required.
