摘要: Abstract Furfural, a cellulose model compound, was converted into gasoline-range fuels through catalytic fast pyrolysis. H-ZSM-5-based catalysts were employed in continuous fixed bed system. The reaction temperature, reactant contact time, and promoter are keys to manipulate the product distribution. first step furfural conversion is decarbonylation of form furan, followed by furan intermediates (e.g., cyclohexene 3,4-dimethylbenzaldehyde) ZSM-5 pores. These can then be transformed aromatics, coke, light olefins, carbon oxides. A temperature 500 °C generated highest yield aromatics lowest amount coke. long time (∼1.5 s) also provided aromatic selectivity. promoter, zinc oxide, plays an important role hydrogen atom transfer. This attributed change acid site concentration Lewis sites created anchored Zn ions.
