摘要: Study of products genes present on a region chromosome 6 known as the Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC) is providing new insight into many chronic diseases undetermined aetiology, including rheumatic such ankylosing spondylitis1,2 and rheumatoid arthritis3,4. The human MHC called HLA, it contains tightly linked cluster that encode for cell surface glycoprotein molecules expressed membrane virtually all cells5–7. These are involved in cell-to-cell interaction have been subdivided two distinct groups class I II molecules6–8. encoded by HLA-A, -B, -C loci MHC. display an exceptional degree genetic polymorphism composed MHC-encoded heavy — or α chain non-covalently bound to β2-microglobulin, smaller invariant polypeptide gene located another chromosome5–8. consist chains well, larger one β chain. closer size than those molecules. Moreover, both HLA-D region7,8.
