摘要: Abstract The scent marking response associated with the ventral gland of Mongolian gerbil declined in frequency following castration, and was restored by testosterone propionate (TP) proportion to amount hormone administered. Subcutaneous injections 0, 32, 64, 128, 256 μg TP oil were given 5 groups 14 castrates once a week 3 days prior each 7 weekly behavioral tests. average scores over last tests 7.9, 9.3, 10.4, 11.4, 18.2, respectively, corresponding score for sham operated gerbils receiving without 14.2. In second experiment 28 gonadally intact adults found correlate positively ( r = .54) seminal vesicle weight, variable which probably reflects androgen titer. results two experiments suggested that individual differences titer are cause frequency.
