摘要: Devices and method are provided for precise reduction of arrays microspots. A pulse jetting device is employed having a capillary (16) micron dimensions, with portion the proximal to orifice (60) circumferentially surrounded by piezoelectric transducer (56). By appropriate design (16), (56), droplets can be formed on surface, separated as little 80 microns center-to-center, at least about 15 spacing border. The subject subtrate used providing miniaturized reagents, such nucleic acids, detecting presence homologous sequences in sample.
