摘要: Abstract The timing of DNA replication the human beta-globin gene locus has been studied by blot hybridization newly synthesized BrdUrd-substituted from cells in different stages S phase. Using probes that span greater than 120 kilobases across locus, we show majority this domain replicates early phase erythroleukemia cell line K562 and middle-to-late lymphoid Manca. However, three small regions display a strikingly pattern adjacent sequences. These islands, located inter-gamma-globin region approximately 20 5' to epsilon-globin 3' gene, replicate later throughout A similar area is also present alpha-globin cells. We suggest these may represent sites termination forks.
