摘要: Thermally conductive and electrically insulating polymer/boron nitride (BN) nanocomposites are highly attractive for various applications in many thermal management fields. However, so far most of the preparation methods polymer/BN have usually caused difficulties material post processing. Here, an situ grafting approach is designed to fabricate thermally conductive, post-melt processable polystyrene (PS)/BN nanosphere (BNNS) by initiating styrene (St) on surface functionalized BNNSs via reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer polymerization. The exhibit significantly enhanced conductivity. For example, at a St/BN feeding ratio 5:1, enhancement 1375% achieved comparison with pure PS. Moreover, dielectric properties show desirable weak dependence frequency, loss tangent remains very low level. More importantly, can be subjected multiple melt processing form different shapes. Our method become universal prepare melt-processable polymer diverse monomers nanofillers.
