摘要: A method of making property modulated composite materials includes depositing a first layer material having microstructure/nanostructure on substrate followed by second that differs from the layer. Multiple and layers can be deposited to form plurality adjacent layers. By controlling layers, properties formed this tailored for specific use. The microstructures/nanostructures may defined one or more grain size, boundary geometry, crystal orientation, defect density.
