摘要: Abstract In the present work different energy reduction schemes (ERSs), used to reduce consumption of steam for a multiple effect evaporator (MEE) system, are developed. These ERSs condensate-, feed- and product-flashing vapor bleeding. Further, new scheme is proposed where condensate chest an preheat liquor, which entering into that using counter current heat exchanger. This also presents comparative study between existing selects best ERS amongst these based on as well number units involved. in paper simple graphical approach named “modified temperature path (MTP)” developed analysis feed flow sequences MEE system screen possible sequence. To MTP example septuple flat falling film (SEFFFE) employed concentrating weak black liquor Indian Kraft Paper Mill, considered. The results show up 24.6%.
