摘要: We present the first X-ray spectrum of a Hot dust-obscured galaxy (DOG), namely W1835+4355 at z ~ 2.3. DOGs represent very rare population hyperluminous (>= 10^47 erg/s), dust-enshrouded objects > 2 recently discovered in WISE All Sky Survey. The 40 ks XMM-Newton reveals continuum as flat (Gamma 0.8) typically seen heavily obscured AGN. This, along with presence strong Fe Kalpha emission, clearly suggests reflection-dominated due to Compton-thick absorption. In this scenario, observed luminosity L(2-10 keV) x 10^44 erg/s is fraction ( 5 10^45 by using several proxies. Herschel data allow us constrain SED up sub-mm band, providing reliable estimate quasar contribution (~ 75%) IR well amount star formation 2100 Msun/yr). Our results thus provide additional pieces evidence that associate an exceptionally dusty phase during which luminous quasars and massive galaxies co-evolve efficient powerful AGN-driven feedback mechanism predicted models.
