摘要: This quantitative and qualitative study investigated perceptions of English compositions among four groups readers (N= 465) in Japan. Analyses evaluative criteria readers' comments yielded the following clear parallel results: Whereas inexperienced as a Foreign Language (EFL) students attended predominantly to content both judging commenting on compositions, more experienced EFL nonnative teachers showed greater concern than did for clarity, logical connections, organization. The groups' tended be similar native English-speaking those students. tendency suggests that there is gradual change Japanese composition from preferring writing features their first language (L1) many second (L2). results imply particular kind evaluation feedback are asked provide peers' should vary according amount L2 awareness experience they have acquired.
