摘要: Background and Objectives: Designing a terminal sliding mode observer (TSMO) in order to estimate the potential faults wind turbine with doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) has been studied previous research works. In this paper, method for fault detection of permanent magnet synchronous (PMSG) using TSMO is developed. Methods: The (WT) dynamic model including, blades, drive train, PMSG, maximum power capture controller, pitch controller linearized around its equilibrium point simulated MATLAB Simulink. Results: Using TSMO, estimation errors not only measured states but also unmeasured converge zero finite time. fast action FDS before failure happens. FDS, are estimated such 0.035 seconds. Conclusion: convergence state time, verified by simulation results, satisfies authors’ expectation both output non-output  ======================================================================================================Copyrights©2021 author(s). an open access article distributed under terms Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0), permits unrestricted use, reproduction any medium, as long original authors source cited.
