摘要: The purpose of this paper is to focus on three Egyptian public business schools in an attempt explore the effect inclusive/exclusive talent management organizational downsizing academics and mediating role responsible leadership.,A total 330 were contacted given a set questionnaires. After follow-ups, 240 responses collected with response rate 72.73 percent. Multiple regressions employed show how much variation can be explained by leadership.,The findings highlighted very weak statistical association between academics’ inclusive downsizing, whereas strong has been discovered exclusive downsizing. Statistical analysis showed that leadership no relationship their downsizing.,The authors have focused only schools, matter may limit opportunities generalize results study private other faculties Egypt. Future research could use double source method.,By preparing academic competences, will able classify staff into talented non-talented, accordingly they initiate tailored strategies. Furthermore, undertaking strategy which includes not limited justifying need decrease numbers guarantee post-redundancy care practices for laid-off alleviate many negative psychological, societal economic consequences downsizing.,This contributes filling gap HR higher education literature, empirical studies until now. This create better cross-disciplinary papers should done HR, scholars.
