Mesoscopic simulation on phase behavior of star-like block polyether solution in the absence and presence of shear

摘要: The phase behavior of a kind star-like block polyether in aqueous solution is studied by MesoDyn simulation method the absence and presence shear. With concentration increasing, different mesoscale structures are found (1) In shear, there four formed with increasing concentration. first micellar phase, including sphere-like micelle wormlike micelle, second bicontinuous third lamellar fourth reversed worm-like hexagonal micelle. (2) three morphologies all concentrations; they reverse which align flow direction. detailed forming mechanisms aggregates given analyzing results.
