摘要: Abstract About sixty aliphatic acids, predominantly fatty hydroxy amino acids and halogen were separated on cellulose layers with the solvent mixture n-butanol-diethylamine-water (85:1:14). The RM values so obtained illustrate in most cases validity of Martin's theoretical postulates for relationship between chemical structure RF value partition chromatography. Thus when is plotted against number substituent groups any one kind a close approximation to linearity results, except case vicinal hydrophilic groups. calculation group constants binding increments was done by direct comparison substances differing only or increment. These data facilitate chromatographic elucidation structural problems; very small amounts which do not even need be isolated pure form are required.
