摘要: A multimode/multiband envelope tracking (ET) transmitter consisting of a hybrid switching amplifier (HSA) and broadband saturated power (PA) is developed for operation across 1.3 to 2.7 GHz. For the various standard signals with different bandwidth (BW) peak-to-average ratio, HSA efficiently provides supply PA by changing reference value hysteresis comparator. The employs nonlinear output capacitor shape voltage waveform, resulting in half-sinusoidal or rectangular waveform. Since generates large out-of-phased second harmonic component small higher order harmonics, shaping mainly carried out slightly supported loading circuit. Thus, load than that capacitor, can operate high efficiency. This characteristic enables efficiency because design focused on fundamental matching problem while harmonics be easily kept low region through subsequent optimization implemented based load/source-pull methodology. networks are synthesized using simplified real frequency technique. BW from GHz (70% fractional BW), measured power, drain efficiency, power-added (PAE) performances between 39.8-42.0 dBm, 55.8-69.7%, 51.2-65.3%, respectively. ET designed demonstrated at 1.8425-GHz long-term evolution (LTE), 2.14-GHz wideband code division multiple access (WCDMA), 2.6-GHz mobile world wide interoperability microwave (m-WiMAX) applications. delivers PAE 32.16, 37.24, 28.75% LTE, WCDMA, m-WiMAX
