Evaluation on the incidence, mortality and tendency of lung cancer in China.

摘要: Objective:  To analyze lung cancer epidemiological trends and estimate the burden in China. Methods:  The age-specific mortality/incidence ratios different geographical areas for both sexes were obtained from National Cancer Registration database 2004 2005. crude mortality rates retrieved of third national death survey 2004–2005. Age-specific incidence calculated using ratios. annual percent change was estimated with a log regression model joinpoint software analyzing pooled data 10 registries 1988 to 2005. Results:  total new cases deaths 2005 536 407 475 768 respectively, numbers higher men than women, show an increase 1.63% annually However, trend showed slowdown 0.55% after being adjusted age. Conclusions:  Lung is one major health issues China getting serious. Aging main cause increasing cancer. Effective prevention control imperative. Tobacco especially should be implemented nationwide.
