摘要: Bruxism is commonly considered a detrimental motor activity, potentially causing overload of the stomatognathic structures. The etiology bruxism unclear, but condition has been associated with stress, occlusal disorders, allergies and sleep positioning. Due to its nonspecific pathology, may be difficult diagnose. Unfortunately, very little data exists on subject cause-and-effect relationship point that expert opinions cautionary approaches are still best available sources for suggesting good practice indicators. present paper reviewed current concepts bruxism, etiology, diagnosis management, underlining effects dental structures in an attempt provide clinically useful suggestions based scientifically sound data.
